Campion Murphy has written and directed several short films including the psychological thriller Citation of Merit , drama The Day I Finally Decided to Kill Myself and most recently a half-hour comedy Barry Ave.  In 2011, he completed his first turn at horror-thriller with the feature film Escapee starring Dominic Purcell.
